The Gradus Ramp Top SFBR37 & Base AFT398 is a premium two-part flooring transition profile designed to provide a smooth and safe transition between floor coverings of different heights. As part of the Gradus Luxury Trim System, it is ideal for high-end interior environments where both durability and aesthetics are essential.  

This system features a solid brass ramp top, a PVC-u connector and a robust aluminium base, delivering a combination of strength, flexibility and a high-quality decorative finish. The clip-in design allows the top section to securely connect to the base, ensuring a stable installation while allowing for easy maintenance or replacement if required.  

The SFBR37/AFT398 configuration is specifically designed for floor coverings with an approximate thickness of 8mm. It is commonly used to transition between carpet, carpet tiles, wood, laminate, ceramics and resilient flooring, providing a smooth gradient that reduces trip hazards and protects exposed edges from wear and damage.  

Installation involves fixing the aluminium base to the subfloor using mechanical fixings or adhesive, with the ramp top then clipped into place. For optimal performance, the base should be fitted over the resilient flooring when used in a ramp configuration.
