1st Pass (Marmo) Replacement Blades – SKU 18A

The Turbo 1st Pass (Marmo) Replacement Blades, SKU 18A, are replacement grooving blades designed for use with the Turbo Marmo Groover when preparing linoleum and Marmoleum flooring for heat welding. Supplied in sets of two, these blades are intended specifically for the first stage of the manufacturer’s two-pass grooving process.

When grooving linoleum and Marmoleum, Turbo specifies that the 1st Pass and 2nd Pass Marmo blades should be used accordingly. The 1st Pass blade is used to create the initial groove before the dedicated 2nd Pass blade is used to complete the grooving process. This two-stage method is designed for use with the Turbo Marmo Groover when preparing resilient flooring seams prior to welding.

The 1st Pass Marmo blade can also be used for grooving vinyl flooring. For vinyl applications, the manufacturer states that first-pass groovers may be used with the applicable blade sizes specified for the Turbo grooving system, depending on the requirements of the installation.

These replacement blades allow worn cutting components to be replaced while retaining the existing Turbo groover. Each package contains two blades, providing a spare replacement for professional flooring installers carrying out regular seam preparation work.
