Heckmondwike Wellington Velour is a commercial fibre-bonded carpet range combining a soft velour texture with performance suited to high-traffic interiors. Designed for demanding contract environments, the range is suitable for education, office, retail, public sector and communal spaces where durability, acoustic performance and ease of maintenance are important.

The carpet is manufactured from 90% polypropylene and 10% recycled polyester. It is available in both sheet and tile formats, allowing the specification to be selected according to the requirements of the installation. Sheet material is supplied in a 2 metre width, while tiles measure 50cm x 50cm and feature a bitumen backing.

Wellington Velour provides a 24dB reduction in impact noise in sheet format and offers Class E sound absorption to BS EN ISO 11654:1997. It is also anti-static and suitable for use in computer rooms. The soft velour finish provides a more defined surface texture while retaining the practical characteristics required for commercial flooring applications.

The range is available in 12 colours, providing a broad choice for interior schemes without limiting the product to a single design option. Available colours include neutral, blue, green, red and purple tones.

Wellington Velour is suitable for professional commercial flooring installations where a resilient, fibre-bonded carpet with acoustic performance is required.
