Transition T profiles are used for joining different floorcoverings of the same, or slightly differing, heights. They are available in anodised aluminium and brass.
The design of the T profiles allows slight imperfections in joints and cuts to be hidden, and enables a gap between floor finishes to be incorporated during installation to allow for natural expansion in flooring materials such as ceramics and wood.
Profiles can be curved on-site for shaped edges and inlays.
T profiles are fitted after the floorcoverings have been installed, making them ideal for use when the installation of the floorcoverings is undertaken by different trades (e.g. ceramic contractors and flooring contractors) where the trims cannot be fixed until both floors have been completed.
