The Gradus PVC-u Clip Top TT35 Top DFT Base is a high-performance twin top transition profile designed to provide a safe and seamless connection between adjacent floor coverings. Part of the Gradus Clip-Top system, it is specifically engineered to reduce trip hazards while ensuring a durable and professional finish in commercial flooring environments. 

This two-part system combines a hard-wearing PVC-u top section with a robust aluminium base, delivering both flexibility and structural strength. The clip-top mechanism allows the top to securely snap into the base, ensuring stability underfoot while also allowing easy removal or replacement of the top section when required. This makes it particularly suitable for high-traffic areas and refurbishment projects. 

The TT35/DFT configuration is designed for use with carpet, carpet tiles and traditional carpet with underlay, accommodating a compressed thickness of approximately 7.5mm. It provides a smooth and level transition between adjoining floor finishes, protecting vulnerable edges and maintaining the integrity of the flooring system.  

Installation involves fixing the aluminium base to the subfloor using mechanical fixings or adhesive, followed by clipping the PVC-u top into place. The profile is widely specified in environments such as retail stores, hospitals, offices and public buildings, where safety, durability and ease of maintenance are essential.
