The Gradus BU200 Bevelled Underlay 15 Metre Coil is a flexible flooring accessory designed to build up the height of resilient floor coverings and create a smooth, safe transition between surfaces. Commonly used as a diminishing strip, it helps ensure a flush finish when adjoining thinner floor coverings to thicker materials or floor trims, reducing the risk of trip hazards and improving overall floor safety.  

Manufactured from high-quality flexible PVC, the BU200 provides both durability and adaptability, allowing it to conform easily to floor contours during installation. It is capable of increasing the floor height by up to 2mm, making it particularly suitable for fine adjustments where precision is required.  

This bevelled underlay is typically installed beneath resilient flooring such as vinyl or similar materials. It is fixed using a proprietary contact adhesive, and the tapered edge can be feathered with a thin layer of latex compound to achieve a seamless transition. This ensures a professional finish while maintaining the structural integrity of the flooring system.
