Gradus MJ307SF4 Aluminium Movement Joint 2.5m

DESCRIPTION

Gradus Aluminium Movement Joint 2.5m MJ307SF4

The Gradus Aluminium Movement Joint 2.5m MJ307SF4 is a heavy-duty flooring expansion profile designed to accommodate structural movement in rigid floor finishes. It helps prevent cracking, lifting and surface damage caused by thermal expansion and contraction, making it an essential component in large-scale flooring installations. This profile is particularly suited to environments where durability and long-term performance are critical.

Manufactured from high-quality anodised aluminium, the MJ307SF4 provides excellent strength and resistance to wear and corrosion. The profile incorporates a flexible central joint, typically made from silicone, which allows controlled movement between adjacent floor sections. This ensures that stress within the flooring system is absorbed effectively, reducing the risk of failure over time. Gradus movement joints are engineered to allow movement of approximately ±1.5mm, supporting structural integrity in demanding applications.

Designed for integration during the installation process, the MJ307SF4 features perforated fixing legs that anchor securely into the subfloor. It is suitable for use with a range of rigid floor finishes, including ceramic tiles, natural stone, terrazzo and resin systems. The profile should be installed flush with the finished floor surface to create a clean, professional appearance while maintaining full functionality.

Ideal for commercial, industrial and public sector environments such as shopping centres, healthcare facilities and transport hubs, this movement joint provides a reliable, low-maintenance solution for managing floor expansion in high-traffic areas.
