DESCRIPTION

Ardex CL Levelling Compound Latex Bag & Bottle

Ardex CL Levelling Compound Latex Bag & Bottle is a high-performance, two-part latex-based levelling and smoothing compound designed for preparing internal subfloors prior to the installation of floor coverings. Combining a cement-based powder with a liquid latex additive, it delivers excellent flow, strong adhesion and reliable performance across a wide range of substrates.

This versatile compound is suitable for smoothing and levelling common internal surfaces including concrete, cement/sand screeds and gypsum (anhydrite) screeds. Its enhanced flow characteristics allow for easy application and a smooth, even finish, reducing the need for extensive surface preparation.

Ardex CL is designed for efficient installation, with surfaces typically walkable in approximately 2 hours and ready to receive floor coverings such as vinyl, carpet and tiles in around 12 hours, making it ideal for time-sensitive projects. The formulation provides good flexibility and durability, helping to accommodate minor subfloor movement while maintaining a stable base for floor finishes.

The compound can be applied from a feather edge up to approximately 10mm in a single application, and up to 30mm when bulked with aggregate, offering flexibility for both smoothing and deeper levelling requirements. Supplied as a convenient bag and bottle system, it ensures consistent mixing ratios and reliable on-site performance.

Ideal for residential, commercial and refurbishment projects, Ardex CL is a dependable solution for achieving smooth, level subfloors ready for final floor installation.
