DESCRIPTION

Ardex A45 Repair Mortar 11 Kg

ARDEX A 45 is a rapid drying, slump free repair mortar for internal concrete and screed repairs. Designed for both vertical and horizontal applications, it is ideal for repairing concrete floors, screeds, concrete steps, ramps, coves and patching around pipework, doors and window frames. Thanks to ARDEX ARDURAPID Technology, the mortar sets in approximately 15 minutes and receives floor finishes after just 90 minutes, regardless of thickness. It can also be overlaid immediately with ARDEX levelling and smoothing compounds, making it ideal for fast-track flooring installations. Suitable for use on heated concrete and screeds.

What Substrates Can This Product Be Used On?

ARDEX A 45 is suitable for internal concrete floors, cement/sand screeds, concrete steps, walls, ceilings and soffits. It is ideal for repairs, patching, forming ramps, falls and coves, and making good around pipework, door and window frames.

How Should This Product Be Applied?

Mix one 11kg bag with 2½ litres of clean water to produce a slump-resistant mortar. Apply with a steel trowel at temperatures above 5°C, from a feather edge up to 20mm neat, or up to 50mm when mixed with ARDEX Coarse Aggregate.

Is This Compatible With Underfloor Heating?

Yes. ARDEX A 45 is suitable for use on heated concrete and cement/sand screeds.

How Many M² Will This Cover?

One 11kg bag covers approximately 7m² at 1mm thickness (approximately 7 litres of mortar). Coverage will vary depending on the condition of the substrate and application thickness.

When Is This Ready For The Next Stage?

ARDEX levelling and smoothing compounds can be applied immediately after the repair has hardened. The mortar is trafficable after approximately 90 minutes and can receive floor finishes after 90 minutes, regardless of thickness.
