DESCRIPTION

Ardex A35 Mix Ultra Rapid Drying Cement

ARDEX A 35 MIX is a pre-blended ultra rapid drying cement for internal screeds, combining ARDEX A 35 cement with graded sand for added convenience. Simply add water to create a high-strength screed suitable for bonded, unbonded and floating applications, as well as large repairs to existing cement/sand screeds. Featuring ARDEX RAPIDRY FORMULA technology, the screed is walkable in just 3 hours and can receive ceramic and natural stone tiles, as well as carpet, vinyl and wood floorcoverings, after only 24 hours regardless of screed thickness. Suitable for commercial and domestic projects, ARDEX A 35 MIX develops exceptional early strength and is compatible with underfloor heating systems.

What Substrates Can This Product Be Used On?

ARDEX A 35 MIX is suitable for producing bonded, unbonded and floating screeds in internal locations. It can also be used for large repairs to existing cement/sand screeds where rapid hardening and early foot traffic are required.

How Should This Product Be Applied?

Simply add water (up to 2 litres per 25kg bag) and mix to a workable screed mortar. Apply at temperatures above 5°C and compact and finish within the 1-hour working time.

Is This Compatible With Underfloor Heating?

Yes. ARDEX A 35 MIX is suitable for use with underfloor heating systems. The heating system should be commissioned after 3 days, then gradually brought up to operating temperature before cooling to above 15°C prior to laying floorcoverings.

How Many M² Will This Cover?

One 25kg bag covers approximately 0.9m² at 15mm or 0.5m² at 25mm screed thickness. Coverage may vary depending on the application.

When Is This Ready For The Next Stage?

ARDEX A 35 MIX is walkable after approximately 3 hours. Ceramic and natural stone tiles can be installed after 24 hours, while carpet, wood and vinyl floorcoverings can also be fitted after 24 hours, or after 4 hours for carpet and vinyl when smoothed with ARDEX A 55.
