Mapei Mapeproof One Coat DPM is a two-component epoxy damp proof membrane designed to control residual, static and construction moisture in cementitious and calcium sulphate subfloors prior to flooring installation. This one coat epoxy DPM provides a durable moisture barrier that protects floor finishes from moisture-related failure while reducing installation time compared with traditional multi-coat systems.

Suitable for use on cementitious screeds up to 97% relative humidity (RH) and calcium sulphate/anhydrite screeds up to 90% RH, Mapeproof One Coat provides reliable surface moisture control where an effective structural damp proof membrane is present. It is ideal prior to installing resilient floor coverings such as vinyl, LVT, carpet and engineered wood flooring systems.

The epoxy membrane is created by mixing the two components before application and working the resin thoroughly into the prepared substrate. When applied correctly, the system forms a continuous, pinhole-free moisture barrier that prevents excess moisture vapour from migrating into adhesives and finished flooring systems.

Mapeproof One Coat can also be used on cementitious substrates with underfloor heating, provided the heating system has been correctly commissioned according to relevant installation standards. The high-strength epoxy formulation ensures strong adhesion and long-term durability across both refurbishment and new-build flooring projects.
