Commercial Flooring Choices & Options

Commercial Flooring Choices & Options

Posted by Tom Shaw on 24th Oct 2022

If you have purchased or are responsible for a commercial property - that either needs commercial replacement flooring or commercial flooring installed from new - you are more than likely considering your options. A large part of your choice will depend upon what commercial property you are dealing with, as we supply flooring to everything from supermarkets and retail units right across to schools, pubs and offices.

Regardless of the type of commercial property, one thing is guaranteed - a commercial property places great demands on its flooring - high footfall is almost guaranteed, and commercial flooring has to be able to deal with everything from work boots to trolleys.

Concrete Commercial Flooring

Concrete is, not surprisingly, one of the toughest and most durable flooring materials that exist. Concrete floors can be finished and coated to improve aesthetics and are well suited to the harshest environments as concrete remains resistant to damage from spills and hard use.

LVT Commercial Flooring

Luxury Vinyl Tiles are the perfect flooring choice for commercial customers, looking to provide a cost-efficient & tough commercial flooring choice that resembles more expensive hardwood, or stone flooring. Commercial properties can have the same stylish appearance as very expensive flooring options at a fraction of the price of the real thing.

Luxury Vinyl is also thicker than standard vinyl, so can do a good job of smoothing out slightly uneven floors. Luxury vinyl is also thick, making it a durable flooring choice - popular in restaurants, commercial kitchens, cinemas and offices.

LVT is also easy to clean and maintain in good condition.

Carpet Tile Commercial Flooring

Carpets are great for domestic properties, but commercial properties favour using carpet tiles. Carpet tiles are ideal for everything from hotel rooms to offices, office hallways, schools and libraries. Carpet tiles provide a quiet, insulated and smart way of flooring a space - and if a section of carpet tile becomes worn or stained - you can simply replace that area.
