Floormart won the bronze award for the vinyl take back scheme operated by Recofloor

Floormart is a designated drop off point for vinyl flooring recycling and has been taking positive steps towards the ethical disposal of vinyl flooring for over 12 months. We have had a positive up take on the scheme and recently won the bronze award. We are proud of our achievement with the Recofloor vinyl take back scheme.

Materials that are suitable for this scheme are as follows:

  • Post installation, clean vinyl off cuts
  • Safety flooring off cuts
  • Old stock vinyl roll-ends (either smooth or safety)

Flooring that is not accepted

  • Cushion Flooring
  • Other flooring, including laminate, carpet, rubber flooring and linoleum, or flooring with jute/fabric backing
  • General waste and rubble
  • Wood
  • Blades
  • Asbestos
  • Liquids
  • Metals including nuts, bolts, nails and screws
